If you’re lucky enough to be spending time in my home city of Paris, it is worth making time to visit its magnificent perfumeries. As a ‘natural nose’, perfume is a professional passion of mine and I adore visiting such places for inspiration.
Frédéric Malle, Francis Kurkdjian, Parfums de Nicolai (Patricia de Nicolaï is Guerlain’s granddaughter), Annick Goutal and of course there are always the interesting perfume houses in the 1er: Patou and Guerlain on the Champs-Élysées. Also interesting is Les Salons du Palais Royal Shiseido – a stunning art deco boutique which I love.
Below are some perfumeries you will enjoy visiting if you have the opportunity. They have other branches too so visit their websites for further information.
